Open Frameworks include some important changes to existing frameworks from 28th October 2024:

Key are:

• Join the framework before the start date
• New suppliers may be appointed during the lifetime of the framework - they can be opened up to at least twice whilst they are live.
• They will run for up to 8 years - twice the time of the standard framework - excluding extensions.

The intent is to make it easier and more flexible for SME’s and new market entrants to join the fraternity and supply goods and services.
